This is an example of a project that I introduced to my 7th and 8th grade class for a field trip and art project that
we did as a result of what our Social Studies Class at UNM had done.
The first is an example of a document that I created that made the field trip seem as if we were stepping back in time.
I used a font that looked as if it were written it the age, printed it out on regular copy paper, soaked it in coffee, and
burned the edges to simulate the paper of the time. Finally, I made feather pens and had the students sign. It was also fun
as I spoke in the language of the time, which inspired the students to do the same.
Mrs. Bradshaw was a wonderful teacher and brought so many wonderful ideas to the class. This was just a sample of one.

Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed
be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be
done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this

against us. Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the
